The guitar is an ancient and historical instrument that, in many cultures were considered a sacred instrument that were mostly used( and are still being used today) during times of worship.

This is because of the enormous amount of different sounds, both simple and complex that can be produced through a guitar.

Playing guitar is a language of the heart. It allows the player to express his/her deepest feelings and at the same time allows the hearer the opportunity to connect and relate to that feeling in a way that is both pure and intimate.

Learning to play guitar is just like learning to speak any language . The more you practice, the better you will get at pronouncing the words, the more your understanding of the language will grow and the better you will be able to communicate.

Learning to speak in any language is the same for everybody and it starts with the simple A,B,C’

Lets look at a couple guitar A,B,C’ that can help you get started in the right direction.

A- AWAY WITH DISCOURAGEMENT: At first it going to be slow and somewhat difficult. You may get bored, you may get frustrated and you will experience pain( in you fingers at least). But just don’t give up! It will get easier, I promise!

B- BE BLISSFUL: In other words be happy! Allow yourself to enjoy every moment of it. Remember you are in the process of getting perfect. Soon enough you will be able to express and communicate your deepest feeling in a way that words cannot express. It’s important to be happy with whatever progress you make.

C- CARE: Take good care of yourself and of your guitar. Remember this is a fragile instrument and the proper care will ensure that you can enjoy your guitar for many years to come. Always keep it dry and neatly stored away in a safe place where it cannot be damaged when it is not being used. Do not drop or bump your guitar unnecessarily as this may influence the quality of sound produced by the guitar. If you are not going to use the guitar for an extended time, release the tension on the strings to prevent the guitar from bending.

D- DO IT RIGHT: Doing it right involves investing in proper guitar training program that can guide you and help you correct some problems. There are literally millions of guitar training programs available, and whatever route you choose to follow, whether it be private guitar lessons, online training or a home training package or even free training, make sure that the program you intent to invest in suites your specific guitar needs. There are a lot of scams out there so be aware and be sure before you spent your hard earned money.
