Firstly, you need to switch off your Wii console and unplug all the cable and connector which connected to the console then take off the plastic cover on the left side of Wii. Those pieces of plastic rotated up on a hinge and easily pop on and off. Once you removed those pieces, turn the console over so the back is facing the upwards. You will notice that got three stickers that are on the back of the console. Take off those sticker and underneath each sticker is a screw that you need to remove.

Then, the next step that you need to proceed is to remove the rubber feet which located on the top left of the bottom of Wii. You will found out that underneath bottom left corner of the rubber piece have an additional screw that you need to remove. Once the screw is removed , you can easily slide the battery pack out of the back of the system then removed the final two screws from the back of the console.

 Now, you can slowly lay your Wii console flat on its side and locate stickers which on the top and bottom left corners on console. You need to remove those stickers in order to unscrew the screw which underneath the sticker. Remove the rubber feet from the top and bottom right corners of the system and take out the screw from underneath each. Make sure you keep those screw properly as those screws are needed once re-assemble back the console.

After that, you can turn the console so that the black face is pointing upwards. Then unscrew each of the three screws from the bottom side of the black faceplate. You easily can slide out the faceplate once the screws are removed. After the faceplate removed, you need to unscrew the four remaining screws. The front section of the Wii now will be loose. Now , you can disconnect the console by unplug all those wire which lead to the inside.

Once you completed above step, you can easily slide off the top plastic cover of the Wii console. By doing so, the console’s internal component are exposed, located the large metal covering that takes up the majority of the inside of the console. The final step is to remove the CD drive by unscrewing the screw from each corner that the metal piece was covering. Once the CD drive is free, tilt the drive on its side and look underneath to see the two wires that lead off of the drive. Follow the wires to the body of the Wii and pull up on the small plastic tab that holds the wires in place. Once the two tabs are released, the CD drive will be able to be lifted from the system. To reassemble the Wii, put each component back to exactly where it was removed.
