There are many ways to abuse an individual. You might be able to abuse them mentally, You might be able to abuse them sexually, You could even abuse them psychically, There is no reason why members of our society have to endure abuse of any kind. We meed to set tougher punishments for abusers of all kinds.

There seems to be a sickness that runs across our country and it doesn't get talked about very often. The sickness that I am talking about is abuse. There are litterally thousands of children who are being abused in this country. It is time to give these children a voice. We need to stop turning our heads the other way and to take action. Child abuse takes place in all social class classes. The rich have a child abuse problem the same as the poor class. Abuse doesn't know a dollar figure.


Child abuse is a terrible crime to commit against a child. I am talking about psychical, sexual and mental abuse. Children are placed in our care by God and we are suppose to love them. They are not a whipping post to vent your daily stress and anger. They are fragile and they depend on those who care for them. There are foster children, step children and children who are with family members. You need to love them and teach them morals and values. They become a reflection of what they are taught.

The worst kind oft crime you can committ with a child is sexual abuse. It is absolutely reprehensible. There are other ways to relieve your sexual stress. If you can't control your urges then you should seek help about yoiur sexual disfunction. There are therapist who specialize in this area and you shouldn't be ashamed to seek out help. This type of abuse leaves scars on an individual for years.

There is nothing worse than verbally abusing a child. Simple statements like he must be an idiot or he must be stupid can affect a childs self esteem. It is hard for a child to develop a positive image of themselves without some one putting thenm down all the time. Children have to deal with peer pressure at school and there always seems to be that bully that call them names as well. The best gift that we can give to a child is the confidence to be a strong and moral adult.
